Under Supervision of Danielle Mendoza LMFT #131122

Madelyn (Maddy) is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who earned her Master of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from California State University, Fresno. She also completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification, which she thoughtfully incorporates into therapy when it aligns with each client's goals and needs. Madelyn believes that meaningful change is possible with the right support, compassion, and space to grow. She is committed to creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

Madelyn enjoys working with individuals, couples, teens, young adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. She provides trauma-informed care and integrates evidence-based approaches including Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, somatic interventions, Inner Child work, the Gottman Method, and Motivational Interviewing. Her work focuses on helping clients heal from past experiences, reconnect with themselves, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. She has worked  in supporting concerns related to self-worth, identity, boundary setting, sexual trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, shame, emotional disconnection, and feeling stuck or caught in patterns of intellectualizing emotions rather than experiencing them.

Madelyn brings warmth, authenticity, and genuine compassion into every session. She believes therapy should be a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are while building the confidence to become the version of themselves they want to be. Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys traveling, camping, spending time outdoors, baking, watching and discussing movies, practicing yoga, and playing Dungeons & Dragons. She values bringing her whole self into her work and believes that genuine human connection is an essential part of the healing process.
