Compensation: Paid-position, $20-$23 scale DOE for Direct Clinical Hours

Pay differential for administrative and supervision hours

About the Organization: 

Janz Family Therapy, Incorporated (Janz Therapy) serves California’s Central Valley by providing individualized mental health services to children, adults and families. Services are administered in a small mental health clinic that is centrally located in Fresno, California. At Janz Therapy we have an open approach to welcoming clients with culturally diverse identities. backgrounds, and experiences. Therapists at Janz Therapy are trained and expected to work using evidenced-based practices, with an emphasis in cognitive behavioral therapy.

Position Overview: 

Janz Family Therapy, Inc. is a new business and we are looking for an associate to grow with the clinic! The ideal candidate will be interested in learning how to work in a private practice that is primarily insurance-based.  This position is a part-time, paid position with the opportunity to expand to full time employment upon building a case load.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

●        Intake and assessment

●        Conducting mental health treatment based on a treatment plan

●        Documentation and clinical note writing

●        Supervision and consultation participation

●        Completing training as necessary

●        Available on-call for client crisis and case management

●        Marketing & networking

●        Administrative duties related to clinical work

●        Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

●         MFT, PCC, CSW Associate Registration Number

●        Completed Master Degree in Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling or a related field

●        Experience, knowledge, skills and abilities working with culturally diverse populations preferred

●        Candidates have some training and experience using CBT and/or willingness to receive additional training and supervision

●        Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and willingness to learn and use electronic recordkeeping system for client charting.
